Brook Trout Habitat Restoration
The Androscoggin watershed boasts some excellent fishing. Not only are the fish fun to catch, but their health is indicative of the health of the environment overall, so it's important to maintain their habitat. Brook trout habitat restoration is a key part of our work on the Androscoggin River. Working with the
Eastern Brook Trout Joint Venture (EBTJV)
, a partnership of organizations devoted to restoring and maintaining brook trout habitat, we have undertaken several projects in the Bear River and the Sunday River in the Mahoosucs region of the Androscoggin watershed.
